Here are some important Post-UTME Tips

In the spirit of the Post-UTME, here are a few important tips:

*Candidates are required to come for the Screening Exercise with the following items:

(i) Four (4) copies of the University of Uyo 2015 ON-LINE registration form duly completed with the passport-size photograph printed in colour.

(ii) Four (4) copies of 2015 JAMB (UTME) Result printout

(iii) Four (4) recent passport-size photographs on red background (same photograph as the one used for the on-line registration) with the name, UTME registration number and signature of the candidate on the reverse side of the photographs.
These should be packaged in quarto- size envelope and labeled with name, department and JAMB registration number.

(iv) HB pencil, eraser and sharpener for Paper - Pencil Test (PPT) candidates.

*Arrive at the venue about ONE HOUR before the start of your exam.

*Avoid all forms of malpractice. Do NOT come to the exam hall with 'brain-support', micro-chips or media storage devices. No GSM handset, calculators or any other electronic devices should be brought into the screening halls.

*Check around your seat for incriminating objects/materials; if any, kindly put them away before the exam commences.

*Study and adhere strictly to the instructions on your exam question paper.

*Shade the required details properly and carefully (Your Name, JAMB Registration Number, Course Code, Department, Faculty, Post-UTME Courses) OMR sheet.

*Do NOT start until you are cleared to do so

*Pay rapt attention and be alert always

*Listen attentively and adhere to instructions issued by the invigilators at the exam venue.

*Endeavour to sign the exam attendance register, as a proof of participation. This is VERY important!

*Always be time conscious: Use your time judiciously

*Avoid any form of distractions/communication in the hall, while the exam is in session.

*In the event of any need to leave the exam hall (in case of illness or using the rest-room), kindly raise your hand and inform and obtain permission from the invigilators.

*On a practical level, take care of yourself during the examination period; eating & sleeping properly and taking regular exercise and study breaks.

*Remember that each examination is a fresh start. Most importantly, keep things in perspective.

NOTE:

*Only coloured print out will be accepted.

*Only candidates who comply with the registration procedures outlined will be allowed to undergo the Screening Exercise.
