UNIUYO students involved in ghastly motor accident, one dead

It was another black Saturday as over 17 students of the University of Uyo were in involved in a ghastly auto-crash. The students were returning from the traditional marriage ceremony of their friend at Etinan LGA, when the unfortunate incident occurred. 

The bus they were riding in while trying to dodge an oncoming Jeep and a Keke (tricycle), reportedly failed brakes and somersaulted, leaving many of them severely injured, including Mr. UNIUYO Jackson Daniel, who drove the bus.

They were subsequently rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention. Morrison, one of the students sustained severe cuts to his head and back and was reportedly in coma. Sadly, he succumbed to the cold hands of death in the early hours of Monday. He was until his death the Director of Socials, Dept. of Banking & Finance.
