It was a sober environment today, as friends and colleagues trooped out today to participate in a procession in honour of Late Maurice Akpan aka Magic Finger.
The procession which was organized by students of the Faculty of Business Administration took-off from the Old Business Lecture Hall, Annex Campus, marched through to the Town Campus and finally terminated at the Faculty of Business Administration open field, where the students converged for a prayer session in honour of the deceased.
Maurice was one of the students involved in the unfortunate auto-crash which occurred on Saturday 30th, 2015. He sustained severe injuries and remained in coma for 2days before giving up the ghost.
He was until his death, the Director of Sports of the Department of Banking & Finance.
RIP Magic Finger!
